I need your help β€” and I'm giving away $500 to say thanks.

I just launched RentGrab, a neighborhood rental marketplace. You can list stuff you own β€” tools, outdoor gear, party supplies, whatever β€” and rent it to people nearby. Or list a service you offer.

Right now I need real people to sign up and list their first item. That's it.

πŸŽ‰ $500 CASH GIVEAWAY πŸŽ‰

Here's how to enter:
1. Repost or share this with your friends
2. Sign up as an owner on RentGrab (free)
3. List ONE item or service
4. Share your listing on social media and tag

Takes about 10-15 minutes. On February 9th, I'll pick ONE winner across all of RentGrab's social media accounts.

Your item doesn't need to rent β€” just needs to be listed and shared.

Right now barely anyone's signed up, so your odds are the best they'll ever be.

Got a pressure washer? Kayak? Party tent? Camping gear? Good at handy work or lawn care? List it.

This would really mean a lot.

Since a few people have asked β€” here's the story behind RentGrab.

It started with a pressure washer.

I bought one a few years ago for a single project. Used it twice. It's been sitting in my garage ever since, taking up space and collecting dust.

Then I started paying attention to what people post on Nextdoor and in local Facebook groups:

"Does anyone have a pressure washer I could borrow this weekend?"
"Looking for a party tent for Saturday"
"Anyone have a kayak I could rent for the day?"

These posts are everywhere. People WANT to borrow stuff β€” they just don't have a good way to do it.

Facebook Marketplace is a mess for rentals. Craigslist feels risky. And most people don't want to awkwardly text their neighbor and try to figure out payment on the spot.

So I built something better.

RentGrab is a rental marketplace specifically for neighbors. You list your items, set your own prices, and rent to people nearby when it works for you. Secure payments. Ratings and reviews. Optional damage protection.

I've been building this for [X] months. It's finally ready.

But a platform like this only works if real people list real stuff. That's where you come in.

If you've got anything sitting around that you'd consider renting out β€” even just one thing β€” I'd really appreciate it if you signed up and listed it.

Quick question: What's sitting in your garage that you only use a few times a year?

For most homeowners, the answer is thousands of dollars worth of stuff.

β†’ Pressure washers
β†’ Kayaks and paddleboards
β†’ Party tents and tables
β†’ Power tools
β†’ Camping gear
β†’ Lawn equipment

What if that stuff could make you money when you're not using it?

That's the idea behind RentGrab. List your items, set your price, rent to neighbors when it works for you.

Here's what some items typically rent for:
- Pressure washer: $30-50/day
- Kayak: $35-50/day
- Party tent: $50-100/day
- Power drill set: $25/day
- Carpet cleaner: $35-50/day

DON'T HAVE A GARAGE FULL OF STUFF?

You can list services too:
- Handy work: $25-50/hr
- Lawn care: $30-60/job
- Furniture assembly: $25-40/hr
- Moving help: $25-40/hr

You keep most of what you earn. Renters pay a flat $2.50 fee β€” no percentage taken from them.

What would YOU list β€” an item or a service? I'm curious πŸ‘‡
