Shining Tree Camps We are small lodge/store & bait shop located 2 hours North of Sudbury and 2 hours South of Timmins, just off of Hwy 560 in Shining Tree.

We have premium fuel, propane, live bait, oils, beer, wine, snacks etc. Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm We have 5 housekeeping cottages, with full kitchens. We also have a small General Store and carry live bait ( minnows, leeches and worms), snacks, fishing gear and more. We have gas pumps on site and carry premium fuel. We also are able to fill propane bottles of most sizes. We also have a po

stal outlet on site. We are just off the groomed trail in the winter and will be updating our page frequently with trail conditions and fuel prices.

Ice is off the lake!

1st long weekend of the season is next weekend!

Fishing season will begin!

Our hours for the summer season will be Monday to Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm beginning next weekend (May 15).

We have minnows and worms, fuel, propane, beer, wine, coolers, snacks, ice etc!

Good day folks! Happy Spring!

Update to our store and post office hours!

Monday April 27th to Friday May 15th we will be open 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday! Closed Saturdays and Sundays!

Beginning May 16th we will be open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm! We will be closed Sundays for the spring/summer season!

Another great snowmobile season has come to an end!

Good snowy morning all!

Well we received another 8 inches of snow up here in Shining Tree overnight!
Not sure this winter will ever end😁

Please note: Please be cautious if riding up this way today as groomer has left Shining Tree as of 8 am this morning ( March 26), and is heading south to Welcome Lake!

Good evening all!

Update regarding trail from Welcome Lake to Shining Tree!

Groomer was going head out tonight, however groomer is having a few issues! He is hoping to be back up and running at some point next week!

*IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING HOURS OF OPERATION FOR MONTH OF APRIL*

From March 30th to April 29th our hours will be limited.
Both the store and Post Office will only be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 5 pm.

Propane WILL NOT be available from March 27th until April 30th!

Also note: Store and Post Office will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday!

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! Regular business hours will resume in May!

Club has been working hard to get trails open! As of 6 am today (Friday, January 23rd) “C” trail is open through to Gogama!

Thanks to all who work hard at getting these trails open for all to enjoy!

We are open 7 days a week 9 am to 6 pm!
