For those of you that have retreats booked for the fall and winter season.... I found someone local who does freezer friendly meals. I am going to try a spinach dip, a shepherds pie and a few other things.... over the next week I will be posting pics and reviews! Stay tuned..... here are her photos and write ups!

Happy menu day! There are only 3 menus before Thanksgiving, and one of those will be touritere (watch for advanced ordering coming soon)! Each week there will be an item or 2 to help with your hosting or holiday events.



Dill Pickle Flatbreads- they have made a comeback and they got great reviews. These were the first flatbread I ever had on my menu! Sliced and diced dill pickles, minced red onion, layers of aioli and fresh dill with cheddar and crumbled bacon. $24 each *freezer friendly



Restaurant style Spinach dip- everyone’s fave! serve warm and enjoy with nachos, naan or baguette- 500ml- $18 *Freezer friendly



Soup’s on! Hamburger Macaroni- another huge favourite and it’s so hearty, it's an entire meal on it’s own. Tomato based with lots of lean ground beef, corn and few extra veggies that kids don’t even notice. $14L or 2 for $26. *freezer friendly



Shepherd’s Pie Layers of lean ground beef and corn mixture with a savoury gravy base and the famous garlic mashed potatoes on top! *great for feeding a crowd. Deep dish- $53, 8x8-$32, single- $15. *freezer friendly



Pork loin by the pound- Brined and slow roasted over the Traeger and sliced nicely to serve as your protein at dinner or on a sandwich or grab a packet of pork gravy and serve it instead of turkey! $22-lb *freezer friendly

Add on: Ale Aioli- 250ml- $5



Steaks on! Take your pick!

Beet Salad: Roasted beet salad. tender roasted beets on a bed of greens, with purple onion, crumbled goat cheese, house made herb vinaigrette and candied pecans. Generous single serve $17 each. ADD steak: $8



Steak Naan- Super tender strips of striploin with horseradish and garlic mayo, mixed cheddar and sauted mushrooms wrapped in a naan. $15 each or 4 for $56. *Freezer friendly.

Philly cheesesteak portobello- rainbow mushrooms, red onion, seasonings, cream cheese topped with tender sirloin and provolone. $16 each. It’s a complete and delicious meal! *freezer friendly

Fellow Retreaters....

Under no circumastance should anyone touch the fire alarm unless it is to replace the battery which I have them in the island top drawer...... If it beeps it is beeping for a reason.

Please do not touch it.

I am thinking should I ask my retreaters how far up the wall should the TV go? Or just hope for the best?!?!

I found this little treasure for 10.00 at a thrift shop.

Does anyone know it's story?

Someone put a lot of work into this......It really is beautiful. ❤
