Our prankster ghost, Althea, might have decided she was tired of hearing me talk about her. I really wish she had let me finish recording the whole tour though!!

They may not miss me but I will miss them.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

I never intended to use Home Depot for this project but local venders wanted between 42-50 per tree and that didn’t work for my budget so I kept asking around. I put the order in the Bid Room at Home Depot and some offers came back. After a little negotiating, I got an incredible price and I think it was because the vendor wanted to see a cool project like this come to fruition. I got the order in October which is cutting it close to the planting window and with a few volunteers helping me unload them and a few volunteers helping me plant them , we spent 5 days planting over 800 trees. I was never so bruised from the auger hitting rocks and throwing back at me and I was bone tired for a month but we got it done. If the next owners don’t want a hedge maze, they could make a pretty penny with this little tree farm I have started. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so close!

My meditation method is the ease in to my mornings, even if just pulling weeds in silence. Metaphorically, we all need to pull weeds from our gardens to keep them beautiful and this type of meditation gives me time to gain perspective. I’m no longer the wake and hustle, boss babe type. Hustle culture is not my thing any longer. I had done it for far to many years which is why I refuse to be in a position where I have to do it again. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy cities or watching the ebb and flow of other peoples lives but I’d prefer to sip my drink of choice and watch from the comfort of a cozy nook. That’s what my vision of what my future looks like. mansion years
