Today, I’m reflecting on the incredible legacy of my father, Mayor Dickie Kennemore, who served as the mayor of Osceola, Arkansas for 28 years. His unwavering dedication to our hometown transformed it in ways that continue to inspire. One of his proudest achievements was helping bring Big River Steel to Osceola—a milestone he believed was “only the beginning” for our community’s growth and opportunity.

Though Dad passed in 2020, his vision and passion live on in the thriving community he helped build. I’m forever grateful for his leadership and the lasting impact he made. ❤️

As a traveler for over 40 years, I have spent many nights in motels, hotels, and, bed and breakfast places.

I must convey to you that Steel Bend Guest Houses are in a category of their very own.

No where have I found such beautiful décor, cleanliness, comfort, and quiet, not to mention convenient to the worksite.

Being a traveler, staying in hotels that each provide a point system. I must say I should pay Steel Bend points for your efforts in providing and maintaining these accommodations in such a beautiful and relaxing environment.
