Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

We took a year break from renting the cabin out for a year but it's back up for booking through VRBO.

If you've been ready to get away from it all and enjoy some mountain time...The Jones Creek Cabin is waiting for you and we would love to have you stay!

Situated on a river, this cabin is 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from Nantahala National Forest and within 12 mi (20 km) of Nantahala River and Franklin Golf Course. The Factory and Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts are also within 12 mi (20 km).

I have to admit I was nervous about opening up the cabin as an Airbnb. We have worked so hard to be fortunate enough to have such an amazing place and I thought it was only right to be able to share this place with others. My hope is that others will take away from it what we have..a needed escape from the “real” world, peace and calm to enjoy the beauty of the land, quality time with our loved ones and to leave feeling happier and inspired.

We wrapped up our first week of guests and I’ve already learned a lot and I keep thinking of ways to make it better. Thank you so much to our first 2 guests, you have already made all the hard work worth it to know that you’ve enjoyed your time at the cabin!

We spent all weekend putting the finishing touches on the cabin and wrapping up the basement renovations. She’s all ready for her first official guests tomorrow. 🌲

We are on day 3 of extreme cabin basement makeover. We are tired, we are sore, we are old but the positive is the results will be worth it and we are enjoying this gorgeous night!
