We encourage clients looking for a professional guide for hunts to reach out to Tyler. Tyler Kuhn is a licensed Big Game Commercial Services Guide and can assist with hunts in registered game management unit areas (GMUs). As we always recommend, no matter where you go, validate your guide and transporter and check references. Make your Alaska hunt a lifetime memory.

September 20 ends moose season for most of us. We conclude with a day of vibrant fall colors, sunshine and the last of the daisies. Congratulations to those successful hunters and for the rest, see you next year!

High Lake Lodge supports the collaboration between the Alaska Trappers Association South Central Chapter (SCCATA) and the Alaska Wildlife Alliance at the Shared Trails and Trap Release Clinic. We are pleased to support these two hands-on workshops on Monday, Sept. 29 at 6pm, at Cabela's Anchorage and Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 6pm, at the Wasilla VFW (301 Lake View Avenue). This is free to the public and all are welcome.

To all our past guests and clients you know this antler tree would grow a little bit each year, but the Nelchina caribou herd has no open season in Game Management Unit 13. High Lake Lodge supports wildlife conservation effort to grow this herd and see healthy calf/cow ratio again.
