What’s in the kitchen? 🍽️
🌲Rim Country Quilt Retreat is stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets and serving bowls.
🌲Basic appliances: crockpot, toaster, microwave, blender and mixer.
🌲Cooking utensils and flatware along with plates, bowls, glasses and mugs.
🌲Tea kettle and coffee maker are at the coffee bar

Okay quilters… I want to hear your retreat traditions! 🧵

One of my favorite things about quilt retreats is that every group seems to have their *thing*.

Maybe there’s a snack that absolutely has to come along. A game you always play. Matching pajamas. A favorite dinner. A silly prize. A group project. A late-night tradition that somehow gets funnier every year. 😂

Let’s talk stairs! ⬇️On the ground level you’ll find the sewing room, 4 twin beds, full bathroom, kitchenette, & lounge area.
⬆️ Upstairs you’ll find the main kitchen, living room, full bathroom and 4 more twin beds.
I’ve worked to make both levels accessible so that if you have difficulty with stairs, your needs can be met on either level.
↔️There is an alternate way to access upstairs & main kitchen. The path on the side of the house, leads to the back patio with only 4 steps, then entering directly into the kitchen.

Your sewing room is your happy place. Now imagine one created for you and 7 of your favorite quilting friends🧵✨

That’s exactly what I had in mind when I designed this space.

My first priority was tables and chairs. Each quilter gets their own **sturdy 6-foot sewing table** and comfortable Koala brand sewing chair. Long sewing days (and nights) deserve comfortable chairs!

Then I added 44 feet of design wall, oversized cutting tables, dedicated pressing areas, great lighting, and plenty of space to spread out.

And because nobody wants to stop sewing just because they need another cup of coffee… ☕️ There’s even a kitchenette right off the sewing room with a refrigerator, microwave, sink and coffee station for drinks and snacks.

This is the room I dreamed of retreating in. Now I get to share it with you. ❤️

We are feeling so incredibly loved. ❤️

When Mark and I signed the papers on this house, we knew we were taking a big leap. I had this dream of creating a place where quilters could come together—to sew, laugh, stay up too late, make memories, and enjoy the kind of friendships that make this hobby so special.

But I don’t think either of us could have imagined the response we would receive when we finally shared Rim Country Quilt Retreat with all of you.

The comments. The congratulations. The messages. The shares. The friends tagging friends and already talking about getting their groups together.

Thank you. Truly.

Watching you get excited about this little dream of ours has meant more to me than I can put into words.

There has been so much work, planning, dreaming, and love poured into this house, and seeing it welcomed so enthusiastically by the quilting community has made every bit of it feel worth it.

We are just getting started, and I cannot wait to welcome you through these doors. 🧵🌲❤️

I’m so excited to finally share a dream that has been years in the making.
Nestled among the pines of Payson, Arizona, Rim Country Quilt Retreat was created as a place for quilters to relax, create, and connect. I’ve spent years going on quilting retreats with some of my favorite people, and those experiences shaped so much of what I created here. I prioritized the sewing space to be comfortable and convenient, and added details throughout the house to feel warm and inviting. ✨
