Are you looking for a family and pet friendly home for a long weekend getaway, or maybe a much needed vacation? Look no further!
Welcome to the Poconos! Our house is located in the beautiful Towamensing Trails community, just off of Route 903. It's about a 6 minute drive from Exit 87 on the PA Turnpike, and about 11 minutes from the Big Boulder Ski area (to put it in perspective). From our house in Chalfont, we are door to door in 1 hour 15 minutes. You'll have access to a private lake (with a sandy beach, lifeguards, paddle boat rentals, etc), a swimming pool, recreational courts (basketball, etc), a club house where they make an incredible burger, and lots of other centrally located activities.
It's a 3 BR, 2 full bath single house sitting on half an acre. The "kids" room has 2 sets of bunk beds (totaling 4 beds) and the other rooms have 2 twins each, which when put together makes a king. There is a front porch, a big upstairs deck with patio furniture, and a HUGE deck in the back with a second set of patio furniture and a propane grill. We also have a really nice air hockey table in the loft (not pictured), along with super-fast WiFi and streaming TV service. All utensils, plates, pans, etc are there, along with a dishwasher, stove, microwave, frig, washer/dryer... you get the point. The downstairs couch opens up to a sleeper sofa, if needed. A maximum of 8 people can stay at one time. Other than that, it's a great location with access to almost everything in the Poconos.
All appliances were purchased within the last 2 years, and a new mini-split HVAC system was installed a little more than a year ago, so there’s plenty of A/C in each room.
Walk the hiking trails, go swimming in our community’s private lake, trek across nearby Boulder Field, or enjoy any of endless activities in the Poconos.
Other info:
- We ask for a $200 refundable security deposit and a $110 cleaning fee
- Dogs are welcome so long as they are house trained
- Please, no smoking in the house
