🦋 5th Annual Butterfly Daze — Celebrating the Life of Rosalynn Carter

Join us for a weekend honoring the life, legacy, and hometown roots of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.
One of the highlights of the weekend takes place right here at Mother Allie's House — Rosalynn Carter's childhood home, which we're proud to own and operate as a VRBO in Plains. We're hosting three ticketed seatings of:
Cooking with the First Ladies Man + Rosalynn Carter Home Tour
Historian Andrew Och — author and producer of the C-SPAN series "First Ladies: Influence and Image" — leads an entertaining cooking demonstration alongside members of Rosalynn Carter's family, including her sister Allethea Wall. They'll share personal stories and favorite family recipes, including Rosalynn's peanut butter pie, right in the home where she and Allethea grew up. Singer-songwriter Andrew Greer will perform "Butterfly, Fly (Rosalynn's Song)."
