Now that the boards for the handrails have been glued together, and the non-glued boards have been separated from them (refer to the last two videos), it’s time to scrape off the excess dried glue to prepare the boards for the planer.

Continuing from yesterday's post on building handrails—after the glue dries, you can remove the clamps. Often, the unglued boards will need to be pried apart before milling the glued boards into the desired shape.

At the woodshop, we are beginning the process of building handrails. First, gather the necessary wood and lay the boards out on the work table. Apply wood glue evenly to one side of each board, then join the glued sides together carefully. Once aligned, clamp the boards securely and allow them to set until the glue dries.
