A few weeks ago we found an awsome place called the Vintage Rose in VA. Its a antique store in a old house from the 1800's. We got a few treasures to bring back with us and will definitely be going back. We highly recommend stopping by there if you ever get a chance. The owners were so nice and she has some hard to find pieces that you dont see often in our area. We really enjoyed stopping in here.

Got to meet some fantastic local people today and add to our Mushroom collection! This sweet lady is the maker of all these pieces so talented! We are happy to say they will be displayed in the kitchen for other people to view and enjoy. They are having a yardsale this weekend and if your in the area you should definitely stop by and check them out they have a great variety of items. 793 Ross Harris Rd inside the building!

I grew up watching Anne of Green Gables and one of my favorite episodes was the one where Mathew surprised Anne with a dress that had puff sleeves! I do believe this dress would fit in perfectly at their ball. My favorite new addition to the vintage closet at Nc's Nostalgic House. So thankful for the historical society in Salisbury for pulling this dress and many others for us and allowing them to be add them to our collection!
