It always makes us so happy hearing from campers that enjoyed their stay.

One of the most common things we hear: this was just what I needed.

It’s how we feel too, and we are honored when you can take some of that joy and peace back home with you.

We completely missed our one year anniversary!

Since May of 2025 we have hosted 50+ campers, who have kayaked, fished, birdwatched, reconnected with family, explored new areas, and just spent time being in nature.

Who has read this?

I’ve had this book for a while, and finally dived in. Taking a break from store chores to enjoy this on the porch for a little while, and I’m hooked. More after I’m finished!!

We are excited to host Enchanted Memories by Ashley for her Halloween spooky memories!

Think ghosts, pumpkin head people, shadowy trees, deserted path through the woods, sunset over the river, vintage truck. Keeping our fingers crossed for some fog on the river!

Another great weekend for camping on the Smith. We have campsites laid out in Hipcamp, but if you’re the only campers for the weekend, you have the whole place to set up and make it your own. Everyone loves this spot right by the river of course!
