Shared meals are a great opportunity to strengthen relationships which has been scientifically shown to improve mental health and increase stress resilience! So I encourage you to put down your phones tomorrow (and at all meals!) and connect more with people than Wi-Fi. During family meals I like to turn my phone on airplane mode or leave it in a different room so I can really connect with those I’m with!

🔔Rising high above the Mission Inn is the Carillon, or bell tower, which was designed and reconstructed by architect G. Stanley Wilson in 1944 following damage due to a serious fire. Having played traditional songs for decades, the melodic chimes ring out over a bustling hotel and often showcase “The End of a Perfect Day”, a song written by American composer Carrie Jacobs Bond after touring the Inn with friends in 1910.🔔
