The One Year Bible plan is an easy way to read through the whole Bible. It’s available on the FREE YouVersion Bible app (this app has been downloaded over 1 billion times) and takes only about 15 minutes each day. In one year you can hear the whole Word - then you start over again and don’t ever stop!
Our family reads the Bible together by connecting our phone to the TV and listening as a family. Another excellent one-year plan on the same app is The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble. This plan reads the Bible in chronological order, and each day includes a brief recap from Tara-Leigh that helps bring greater understanding to what you've read. She truly has a heart for the Lord! This plan takes less than 25 minutes a day.
Reading the Bible together as a family has greatly increased our understanding of God’s Word. One of the most amazing things we’ve realized is that the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—points to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Through daily reading, we’ve come to know Him more deeply and appreciate how wonderful He truly is.
