🚵‍♀️ REAL RUIDOSO: COME RIDE RUIDOSO'S INCREDIBLE BIKE TRAILS! 🏔️

Friends and fellow outdoor enthusiasts - let's set the record straight: Ruidoso is OPEN and ready for your next adventure!

🌲 Our world-class bike trails are calling your name: • Grindstone Trail System - 18 miles of IMBA-designed singletrack perfection around pristine Grindstone Lake • Cedar Creek Spaghetti Bowl - Over 30 miles of multi-use trails just minutes from town • Ski Apache Mountain Biking - Take the gondola up and bomb down Sierra Blanca Peak (opens June 29!)

🏞️ The truth about our community: While we've faced challenges with localized flooding in specific burn scar areas, the vast majority of Ruidoso remains completely unaffected. Our restaurants are serving up amazing meals, our shops are open, our trails are rideable, and our hospitality is as warm as ever.

💪 Tourism IS our lifeblood - and right now, we need our mountain biking family more than ever. When you visit, you're not just getting epic trail time in the Lincoln National Forest - you're supporting hardworking local businesses and a resilient community that's been welcoming adventurers for generations.

🌟 Come see for yourself: The Sierra Blanca Mountains haven't gone anywhere. The pines still whisper in the wind. The trails still deliver that perfect high-altitude flow. And the post-ride brewery patios? Still the best place to recap your day with new friends.

Don't let social media fear-mongering keep you from experiencing one of New Mexico's premier mountain biking destinations. Pack your bike, book your stay, and come discover why riders have been falling in love with Ruidoso's trails for decades.

Your trails miss you. Your mountain town needs you. Ruidoso is ready for you. 🤘

🏔️ REAL RUIDOSO: Setting the Record Straight 🏔️
Friends, we need to address some misleading information circulating on social media about flooding in Ruidoso.

THE TRUTH: While we have experienced some flash flooding from recent rains on the South Fork and Salt fire burn scars, reports of "catastrophic flooding" are greatly exaggerated. Some users and even meteorologists are sharing old footage and outdated videos, creating unnecessary panic and hurting our community.

RUIDOSO IS SAFE TO VISIT! ✅

Yes, we're dealing with typical summer flash flooding in burn scar areas - but we're prepared, and our community is resilient. We have excellent resources to keep everyone informed and safe:

🛣️ Real-time road closure updates 💧 Low water crossing monitoring tools 📱 Up-to-date safety information

Our local businesses, restaurants, shops, and outdoor recreation areas are open and ready to welcome you! Tourism is the lifeblood of our mountain community, and we need your continued support now more than ever.

Don't let sensationalized social media posts keep you away from experiencing the beauty and hospitality that makes Ruidoso special. We're here, we're open, we're Real Ruidoso, and we're ready to show you an amazing time in our mountain paradise.

Come visit us - safely and confidently! 🌲⛰️

We appreciate all the calls checking on our beautiful hotel and our staff!! We are here and have remained safe and able to provide rooms for all the amazing first responders that have traveled from so many places to help the Village of Ruidoso. We thank you all for being so understanding with us, as our village slowly starts to heal and as we all learn to navigate through our current day by day statuses.

~Management 💕

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Ruidoso—later. While our community works tirelessly to recover from the recent fires and flooding, we ask for your understanding and patience.

Check back frequently, we’re taking this one week at a time!
