Summer heat got you feeling like you need to go cool off? Then maybe an adventure out to the mountains will help cool you off. Ruidoso, New Mexico is only 3 hours from Albuquerque, New Mexico and prides a good cooling place with temperatures on average a good 20 plus degrees less.
So what can you expect to see there?
Wildlife is so pleasant to see at El Chalet… Bears, Elk, Deer, Chipmunks, and all kinds of Birds!
There you can shop downtown, and much more like…
Summer fun… you can swim in two of three lakes or fish in all three, got a boat? Then drop your anchor in one while you fish! The Ruidoso Rec Dept Swimming and Tennis courts are there on Sudderth. So when it comes time to rest or maybe that’s all you want to do is sit by your fireplace and toast some marshmallows then I have the Airbnb/Vrbo for you. My wife and I own a Vacation home in Ruidoso which we call El Chalet. Easy to get to and has 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large enough for sleeping 7 in beds and 2 more on a mattress that is stored in a closet to pull out to one of the bedrooms or living room.
O… and don’t thing this is just a summer place because winter fun you have …. sledding, snow tubing, skating, snowboarding, and skiing… with plenty of trails to go on and more… fishing all year.
Stay at my vacation home and enjoy the getaway but don’t worry about bringing the kitchen sink. We have that and much more. Just bring your food, clothing, and family/friends and enjoy your time away from the everyday life.
