A Moment in Time: America 250 🎨
Plein Air Paintings from America’s First Coast
Thursday, March 19 | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us this Thursday evening to celebrate the opening of A Moment in Time: America 250. This special exhibition is presented by the Lightner Museum in partnership with the First Coast Plein Air Painters. This is a free community event. Refreshments will be available. Guests should enter the building through the Radzinski Garden located at the rear of the Lightner Museum building.

Support for the exhibition comes from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council; the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture; the Florida Council on Arts and Culture; and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Bike to the lighthouse from the Hoffmann Haus (about 20-30 minutes) and enjoy the museum and views from the top! Then head to Anastasia beach for some beach combing!

DID YOU KNOW? Henry Flagler’s luxurious hotels in St. Augustine, like the Ponce de Leon and Alcazar Hotel, attracted many notable guests who would also visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse.

The lighthouse was a popular attraction for the wealthy visitors, including families like the Rockefellers, Astors, and Morgans, who were staying in Flagler’s hotels.
