The Real Deahl Home & Garden. This lovely corner of the world started back in 2019 when the owners, Ben & Shauna, saw potential to create a beautiful little center for all things plants, decor, and homemade things locally.

The Real Deahl is a fantastic place to find beautiful and unique plants, home & garden decor, locally made soaps, teas, hand made jewelry, and so much more.

Time for our next small business highlight, Crunchy Littles Consignment!

Now I know we all feel the financial strains of the economy and the cost of living, and when raising children we can use all the help we can get to save money. Crunchy Littles is a children's and maternity consignment store where you can find all the things you need for your growing family at affordable prices.

The owner, Jillian Scott, recently ended up moving from the corner of the entrance to our park, to a much bigger space off of Columbia Blvd. And in a very short time, has filled that space with so many goodies!

Good morning DMRVP 🐸🌞

Since we have had a pretty mild and warm winter, y'all certainly have heard the music of our local frogs in the wetland next to us for the past month. One of nature's most beautiful songs!

Did you know frogs have highly permeable skin that absorbs toxins, so if they are present that means clean water free of pollutants?

As predators, frogs consume vast quantities of insects, including disease carriers such as mosquitoes, flies, and ticks. They also eat slugs and snails that can damage crops and gardens.

Tadpoles are herbivores that feed on algae, which helps keep water clean and prevents excessive algal blooms which is great considering we are surrounded by water.

So next time you hear them in full song, just know we live next to a healthy and clean water ecosystem 😊

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and we thought a great small business to feature this month would be our local Chocolate shop!

Bertucci's Chocolates and sandwiches is a wonderful establishment that has been a part of Saint Helens for many years. They also have super cute gifts and collectables for all ages.

We hope y'all have been enjoying this gorgeous weather we've been having 🌞 For this month's small business highlight, we would like to bring to your attention the End of the Trail food truck! They just opened a week ago and are located at the food pod behind the bowling alley here in Saint Helens.

They are associated with Medicine Wheel Recovery & Services that helps bring our native American communities together in healing and many other community service activities.

Good afternoon DMRVP and Happy belated New Year!

We wanted to start off the new year with a feel good story that happened to one of our long term guests. Donna and her pup Mango have been a wonderful addition to our park almost since we opened. And last month little Mango decided to go on an adventure that none of us approved lol

Dec 22nd Mango managed to get out and go wandering way off by our local fairgrounds about 2 miles away. That's a lot of hoovin' it for a small doggo! He managed to stay safe and evade everyone including his mom for 2 weeks. What a stinker.. But after a lot of postings, sightings, help from the WagginTails Search & Rescue, and help from multiple guests, Mango finally decided his vacation was over and ran to Donna on Jan 4th.

We are so happy and relieved Mango is home safe and unharmed 🥰

Good evening DMRVP,

Hope y'all are ready for Christmas! Its coming up on us fast and with that we wanted to share a PSA for the pet lovers out there on what your furry friend can and can not have during the festive holiday (or any other day).

A lot of the foods we love to eat can pose some serious health risks for our pets and as a general rule of thumb, if you're not sure, always double check to see if it's safe for your pet.

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!
