Spent the weekend putting the finishing touches on the first campsite!
While we'll continue making improvements over time, we're ready to welcome a few friends and family as our first guests.
As a thank you for helping us launch, we'd love to host you for a complimentary stay. All we ask in return is an honest review, a few photos if you're willing, and your feedback on how we can make the experience even better.
The Terrace at Black Lake Overlook Retreat is an elevated camping experience featuring a 13-foot White Duck Bell Tent, an outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grill and Camp Chef stove, a pellet stove for cozy evenings, a picnic table, rustic seating area, Adirondack chairs, a private trail to a hammock, and stunning views overlooking Black Lake. The campsite is tucked behind a private gate for added privacy and includes a clean porta potty.
It's the perfect home base to experience this magical area. Choose your adventure by day and find peace by night. Bike the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, kayak the channels, lakes, and rivers, watch for wildlife and the areas waterfowl like Great Blue Herons, and explore North Idaho's charming mountain and lakefront towns.
We're also happy to share some of our favorite hikes, restaurants, beaches, bike rides, and hidden gems to help you make the most of your getaway.
