A true Texas Pila pool/cistern as built for over a century in South Texas was hand mixed and bucket poured between two forms. Today Steel reinforced forms on both sides with steel reinforcement throughout is the common construction for us. Although we are no longer using buckets to pour we did in the beginning. 
We do not shotcrete or gunite blow our concrete against the soil. Our 8” solid concrete walls are laced with fiber and are evenly poured and vibrated in a circle to even flow all the way to the top. These tanks are built to stand the test of time. We are proud to continue the tradition of the true Texas Pila. If you are in need of open top or closed Water Cisterns, water troughs or the luxury of a Pila pool above ground or partial bury please give us a call.
