I am accepting longer-term (30 days plus) rentals, and giving a 50% discount to encourage this. It has every amenity - I have been quizzing guests over the years about how to outfit the kitchen and bath so that you will have everything you need (washer/dryer, new A/C, bed-bug proof mattress covers, comfortable mattresses, dog doors, fenced yard, proximity to nice walks, restaurants and shopping) plus more: a bottle of wine, a few beers, bottled water, emergency pizzas, dog biscuits, a growing dog library. For your protection, all the mattress is fitted with anti-bedbug, anti-allergin mattress covers.

This 1 bedroom house was built in the 70s and fully restored in 2018. It has a nice blend of custom furniture and high-tech amenities (WiFi, smart TVs with internet, Pandora, Amazon Prime, and Netflix). The bedroom has a queen size bed. It is about 10 minutes from downtown, and is on a bus route that takes you right into the city. Interstate 10, the major San Antonio artery, is 2 miles away, The airport is 4 miles away. The house will soon be solar powered, and is fully insulated with new A/C, heat, and an on-demand hot water supply. It is pet-friendly (no fees), and has a fully fenced and gated back yard (the fence is a 6 foot high wood fence). There is a doggie door in the bedroom closet, allowing dogs to come in and out of the fenced part of the yard. We are one block from five well-known restaurants, including two that specialize in ribs, one that serves the best hamburgers in San Antonio, and a popular Mexican breakfast, lunch, and dinner cafe.. A food truck parks most nights in the summer down the block and serves up excellent Mexican dishes. Our neighborhood is known for the dozen or so antique shops within walking distance. I live next door, and can be at your door to help with any issues within minutes.
Rates don't change on holidays. I know some of your schedules are nailed down, and some are more fluid. I've learned how to work with that. As with the short-term rentals, I will still do your maintenance, pay your utilities, and do the yardwork. All furnishings, linen, kitchen gear, towels, cleaning supplies, vacuum, ironing board, washer/dryer, etc. are provided.

This cottage is in back of another pet-friendly house that my team and I (Jack and Jill are Vizsla mixes and Lulu is a boxer mix) rent to pet owners. This 400 square foot cottage is appropriate for one or two people and dog, and contains all the amenities of the front house. There is a separate entrance and gates to avoid interacting with other guest pets. If you've been curious about living in a "tiny house", this is your opportunity to try it out. We are within walking distance of Woodlawn Lake Park, which is a big lake with a path around it, swimming pool, dog park, playground, lawns, people watching, benches and marina. We are only 3.4 miles from the Riverwalk and 15 minutes from the military bases and airport. You can use the washer/dryer and driveway parking if the front house isn't occupied. This property has a main house with three bedrooms that will sleep 6, and one bathroom. A cottage with another bathroom and kitchen that sleeps 2 is attached by a deck. The rates you will be quoted are for the main house. if you want to sleep more than 6, add that information to your registration and I'll let you know the extra charge.

This is one of four places I have for rent that were all built between 1909 and 1930. They're all pet friendly homes. All four are in the same area, and are very close to downtown. They're priced exactly the same, with the exception of the smallest one.
