UNITE HERE Local 30 Local 30 represents over 7,500 hard-working hotel, food service, airport, and gaming workers throughout San Diego County.

Local 30 is an affiliate of UNITE HERE, a union with a diverse membership, representing workers throughout North America. Through organizing, UNITE HERE members have made apparel jobs in the South, hotel housekeeping jobs in cities across North America, and hundreds of thousands of other traditionally low-wage jobs into good, family-sustaining, middle class jobs.

Generational STRIKERS! - Father and son unite for justice across generations. 😎

Wesley Rodriguez, a member of Local 30 at the Hilton Bayfront, stands alongside his father Gabriel Rodriguez on the picket line back in September.

Gabriel participated in the United Food and Commercial Workers Union strike of 2003-2004, which lasted for 141 days. Now, two decades later, both generations of the Rodriguez family rallied behind a shared cause: One Job Should Be Enough. ✊
