Oogie Boogie Bash is almost sold out 👻 with only two dates left for Disneyland’s separately ticketed Halloween party at California Adventure.

But even if you skip the party, Halloween Time at Disneyland is still very much worth the trip. Regular park admission includes Haunted Mansion Holiday, Radiator Screams, Halloween Screams, costumed characters, seasonal dĂŠcor and more throughout both parks.

Swipe for what’s included with your ticket-and if you’re set on the Oogie Boogie Bash, RUN!

Miramar Air Show weekend is coming up ✈️

It’s free to get in, free to park, and the Blue Angels are always the main event. If you’re bringing kids, I’d absolutely bring hearing protection, snacks, sunscreen, and something with wheels because it’s a lot of walking.

A few more things I’d know before you go are in the slides. Swipe to read!

The Omni San Diego at the Ballpark is the only downtown hotel with a skybridge to Petco Park.

I checked it out during a game and toured the Presidential Suite plus some of the recently renovated rooms. The renovation works the baseball theme in tastefully.

It already prices well, and we’re now an Omni partner, so I can add these benefits to your stay:

Omni Select benefits:
$50 (1-2 nights) or $100 (3+ nights) Hotel/Resort Credit
Daily Breakfast for 2 guests per bedroom
One category room upgrade (subject to availability at check-in).
Early Check-In & Late Check-out (subject to availability)

The “Best” hotel depends on the kind of trip and stay you are looking to have.

These are the properties I recommend most often based on location, room type, amenities, service, and who they actually work best for.

This is something I don’t talk about a ton, and every time it comes up I kind of forget how strange it sounds.

For the first few years of my daughter’s life, we lived at a Four Seasons.

It was just our normal at the time, but looking back, I realize how much those years shaped the way I think about hotels and travel now.

I notice the tiny things. How a hotel actually feels once you’ve been there for more than a night. What makes service feel effortless. What families really need.

So now when I review a stay, especially for families, I think back to those years and what it was actually like navigating hospitality spaces with a little one.

I notice things like balconies with furniture that can be climbed on. Whether there’s an easy way to get clean hot water for bottles. How far the room is from the pool. Whether the bathroom setup works with kids. The things you don’t really think about until you’re standing there with a tired baby.

That’s probably why my hotel reviews can get a little specific. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what makes a hotel truly work for families, and that kind of intel is hard to have without lived experience.

There are a lot of Safari Park upgrades, and the most expensive one isn’t automatically the best one for your visit.

You can have a great day with just admission and the included Africa Tram. But if you want something more immersive, the right tour really depends on who you’re going with and how big you want to go!

Swipe to read which ones I would recommend.

One thing people don’t realize about LEGOLAND is how much there is to do without ever getting in a ride line.

There are playgrounds, building stations, Minifigure trading, LEGO boats to build and race, fossils to dig for, and interactive areas all over the park.

I 100% would recommend LEGOLAND for any one with little ones who don’t love rides or long waits. You could fill an entire day on the playgrounds and lego building areas alone!
