2022 Practice Wear Catalog for GK Cheer! Well, a few of my favorites spreads anyways. Sooo excited to be sharing (what I could squeeze into a carousel) with you guys.

So let me tell yah, this project challenged me in several ways. From having multiple design concepts from multiple people, trying to blend the styles together in a way that makes sense, and also, omg, SO. MUCH. PHOTO EDITING. Until my eyes crossed and my hands/arms were sore.

Situational vs. Clinically Diagnosed Depression

Why I bring it up? Bc quick life update: I decided to close my business this year. 😱

And my feelings through that transition clarified what the various types of depression look like.

Why it Matters:
Bc I think not understanding “what counts” as depression or what’s just a feeling that will pass with time, prevents us from getting the help we need, while also creating misunderstandings & conflict with ourselves, our work, and our relationships.

Happy Veterans Day! As we take a day to acknowledge & commemorate all that our military vets have done for us, I wanted to take a quick moment to hash out something that I’ve always felt conflicted about regarding this holiday.

As a military brat in a very military town, AND as someone who struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts, I really wanted to express my note of gratitude in a way that hopefully, respectfully, brings light to just how much sacrifice our vets have made, and how deeply I know many still struggle with it. Especially after this past year, in the wake of all that happened in Afghanistan.

My favorite Saturday mornings start with coffee, blankets, and a book. Today I’m reading about attachment styles. 😳

There are 4 types, and they’re basically the “so tell me about your childhood” part of psychology/conditioning/therapy that breaks down why you respond the way you do in relationships. (All relationships, not just romantic.)

Anyhow, lol I’m pretty sure I’m some type of Avoidant and/or I flip flop between the two. 🙈 Guess we’ll find out after this workbook lol. I believe things often parallel, and how we show up in our relationships with ourselves and others, is often how we show up in all things. Lol so I’m working on it. 😬
