Time and money off work and as I always say; Every time I go to a large mall I get a flue, a cold and visions Migraines at night make it a MUST to stay at a hotel because the day turns into night every time. When you think you are saving money; You're not! It's nice to get away, but take that saving and spend it on a day at the spa for two. How much did it cost you to shop for the holidays? Especially those who cannot drive 10 miles to a large mall with a check list? From toys to gift cards and this includes shipping. Not gas or having to stay at a hotel because we live in a rural area and there is always traffic or going over several large mountains totaling 135 miles that takes almost 3 hours to get there. Include round trip gas. $90.00.Small cars never do well were we live. For us we stay a night at a hotel add $76.52. Lunch, dinner and breakfast is 50.00. This is not counting the miles on our vehicle. We hit over $2,000 in 2011, however, almost everything this year was purchased online. Compared to 2010 that, as the above was over $3,000.
