Greenhouse lettuce is growing like crazy! Peppers, eggplant and tomatoes have been planted in the greenhouse! Feathered friends providing eggs daily! Such a great time of year!

Reach out if you want some lettuce! My schedule is a bit crazy but get ahold of me and I’ll get you some lettuce. We sell lettuce for $5/bag and you get more than a small bagged product from the supermarket.

So excited to get the gardens and greenhouse going this season. Last season we had an abundance of greens and the veggies did decent too. I’m tempted to put the word out to the local communities that we may have veggies and greens for sale thru the summer. Im curious who would be interested in greens and veggies. Last season we had tons of lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, and late summer lots of tomatoes and some peppers and eggplant and other veggies. Right now we also have eggs and firewood at our little roadside stand!

So, who is interested in local veg if I put more time in the garden this year?

Taborton Harvest Fiddlehead Cabin

A great hike with kidos at Valentino family community forest! This property is located about 20 minutes away from our taborton harvest property. It’s one of the many local hikes you can find that are managed by Hudson Taconic Lands! Thank you HTL for all you do. Some properties have views, others ponds, streams, rock faces and just great upstate NY wildlife. The next hike on our list is Boehme legacy forest. I have head it’s fantastic and can’t wait to get there.

Come stay with us! Camp and hike right at our trailhead that leads to Bessie’s woods or hike one of the many HTL properties!
