Here, the ocean has a way of becoming part of the day without asking for your attention.

Morning begins with coffee and a view toward the water.

Maybe the sky is clear. Maybe Dillon Beach has disappeared beneath a soft layer of coastal gray.

What if your next walk through Point Reyes was less about how far you went—and more about what you noticed? 🐾

This Sunday, the Marin Tracking Club offers a different way to experience the wild side of West Marin.

Instead of simply walking through the landscape, you'll slow down and start looking for the stories animals leave behind.

Tracks. Signs. Subtle changes in the ground. Clues to how wildlife moves and behaves.

The gathering is led by experienced tracker Richard Vacha and welcomes experienced trackers, newcomers, children and nature lovers. The club has been exploring different West Marin locations since 2006, with an emphasis on learning together rather than simply covering miles.

The Skunk Train Pumpkin Express departs from Willits for a two-hour round trip through the redwoods...with a pumpkin patch waiting along the way.

Once the train reaches Crowley, you can step outside, wander through the pumpkin patch, explore the nearby redwoods, take a few fall photos and choose a pumpkin to bring back with you on the train. Seasonal treats are part of the ride, too.

I’m looking for cleaning help around Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay and would love to connect with someone dependable, communicative, and thoughtful about the homes they care for.

Experience caring for guest-ready homes is a plus, especially if you’re comfortable helping with:

• Cleaning on checkout days, including weekends and same-day turnovers
• Providing consistent, reliable cleaning each time
• Keeping in touch and communicating reliably
• Restocking supplies and keeping an eye on anything that may need to be ordered
• Letting me know right away if you notice a maintenance issue, damage, or something that needs attention
