Adventure Manager – HK Adventures
HK Boats is evolving into something bigger.
What started as a well-established boat rental business is growing into HK Adventures—an experiential outdoor brand focused on guided adventures, partnerships with local vendors, and unique lodging experiences through our boutique hotel properties.
We’re looking for a go-getter who wants to take the reins and run with it.
This isn’t a typical “assistant” role. We want someone who is excited to build something, shape it, and make it their own. From day one, you’ll step into a manager-level role, helping grow HK Adventures into a premier experiential travel company in the Adirondacks.
You’ll work alongside ownership and an experienced guide who has run their own guiding business for years—but you’ll have the freedom to lead, develop ideas, and grow the operation. Think of it as an opportunity to build and run your own adventure program with real support behind you.
This role could be perfect for someone who:
Is a natural self-starter and problem solver
Has guiding or outdoor leadership experience
Understands tourism, hospitality, or business development
Has a degree in expeditionary studies, outdoor recreation, tourism, or business (or equivalent real-world experience)
Wants to build something meaningful in the Adirondacks
What you’ll do:
Help expand HK Boats into HK Adventures
Develop guided outdoor experiences and adventure programming
Build partnerships with local outfitters and activity providers
Connect adventure offerings with our boutique hotel properties
Help shape the future of the business
