The story behind The Siesta House🏡🤍
It’s been our dream for many years to someday start a vacation rental.
Every time we’d visit a new place and experience an Airbnb stay, we’d find ourselves inspired by hosts who nailed certain elements of the experience, but would also find that we missed the comforts of our home while we were away. If we ever had the chance to make a place our own, we knew exactly how we’d want people to feel when they stayed with us.
The Siesta House holds a special place in our hearts because it was previously owned by Josh’s parents. We’ve been going there since our kids were babies. Sarasota has naturally become our home away from home. In the 11 years that Josh’s parents lived there, they remodeled and transformed the place into the beautiful home that it is today, through their vision and hard work that they did entirely on their own. We’ve added our touches to create a space that we think is extra special and want to share with you.
