A friend of mine asked me to help find a house for a new colleague moving to Sarasota to teach at Keiser College. We met over Zoom before they moved to the area, I set up a 'search' for them and they identified a dozen listings that we visited. They didn't like any in person--so we started over, shifted the focus to Parrish, where we closed this week on this $410,000 house. Sounds corny, but I just love the process of being a Realtor.

Helping a couple college sweethearts--now in their mid-80s--move into senior living. Put up the 'pending' sign over the weekend. On to the inspection. I try to not get too excited until we get to the closing table--but this is a nice big step.

In a 3-2 decision, the board rejected a site plan for a redevelopment of the southern portion of the Midtown Plaza commercial center.
