📍Devil’s Bridge, Sedona
5 reasons why this Sedona icon lives up to the hype 👇
1. It’s not actually a bridge 👀
Despite the name, Devil’s Bridge is technically a natural sandstone arch, formed through erosion rather than flowing water.
2. It’s the largest of its kind (in Sedona)
Devil’s Bridge is considered the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area.
3. Yes, you can actually walk across it.
Unlike many natural arches you admire from below, the trail takes you right onto the top of Devil’s Bridge, where you can get that famous photo.
4. Getting there is part of the adventure.
The hike is around 4 miles round trip, with steep rock steps and a little scrambling at the end.
5. The name sounds scarier than the hike
The trail is relatively easy. The rugged road to the trailhead? That’s another story.
If Sedona is on your travel list, this is one spot worth waking up early for. 🌵🥾 Save this for your next trip and send it to the person you’d hike it with.
