Stay at Wildflower

Stay at Wildflower Each house is full of charm and character, yet complete with modern amenities.

Located just around the bend from Dollywood, this beautiful community of renovated farmhouse-style rentals is convenient to all the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We had another visitor between our newest properties (coming soon!). 😂 Apparently, “Do Not Feed the Bears” also means do not accidentally leave them a takeout order.

Friendly Smoky Mountain reminder: don’t feed the bears — intentionally or accidentally. Keep food and trash secured, lock it up, and never leave anything outside that smells remotely interesting. Because once a bear finds an easy meal, he will absolutely check the menu again.

We love seeing our wild neighbors around Wildflower. We’d just prefer they stick to berries instead of garbage bags.

Apparently, the neighbors have already stopped by to inspect one of our newest Wildflower properties. 🐻

We caught these baby bears playing behind a house we’ll be bringing online soon, and they were having a much better time than the adults supervising the renovation.

Wildlife sightings are part of what makes the Smokies so special, but they’re always best enjoyed from a safe distance. Never approach or feed bears, and make sure food and trash are securely stored.

More details about this new place to stay are coming soon. For now, enjoy the cutest little property preview we could have asked for.

Planning a family reunion can feel a little overwhelming. Finding a place to stay is only one piece of the puzzle. Keeping everyone happy once they get there is the real challenge.

We recently hosted our own family reunion in the Smokies, and it reminded us that the best trips aren’t about packing every minute with activities. They’re about creating space for people to spend time together while still giving everyone room to relax in their own way.

We put together some of the things that worked well for us, along with a few ideas we’d absolutely use again, in our latest Travel Guide post.

One of our favorite things about staying at the Farmhouse isn’t something you can photograph.

It’s this.

The birds wake up long before the Parkway does, the fog rolls across the fields, and for a few minutes the only thing you’ll hear is nature doing what it does every morning.

It’s one of those little moments that reminds you why vacations don’t always need packed itineraries.

Looking for a delicious, consistent, casual dinner around Pigeon Forge?

Blue Moose is one of our favorite casual restaurants in Pigeon Forge and one of the easiest recommendations we make to guests. Great burgers, loaded fries, cold drinks, and enough variety that everybody in the group can find something they’ll enjoy.

Our advice?

Start with the Moose-a-Rella sticks.

We just added our full review to the blog, including what we ordered and why we keep going back.

People ask us all the time where we’d eat if we could only pick one restaurant for an entire Smoky Mountain trip.

Our answer is always the same: Ristorante DellaSantina.

It’s tucked away from the busiest tourist areas, just a few minutes from Wildflower, and somehow manages to serve some of the best food in the area without feeling stuffy or pretentious.

We just added our full review to the blog, including what we order, why we keep coming back, and the one mistake people make before dessert.

The Smokies are better when you slow down a little. 🌿

Rain in the Smokies doesn’t have to ruin your trip. Honestly. Some of our favorite Smoky Mountain memories happen on the slower days when the fog rolls through the mountains and we can visit quieter attractions, take scenic drives after a storm, and create a cozy afternoon indoors.

We rounded up our favorite rainy day things to do in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, including:
✔️ Indoor attractions worth visiting
✔️ Family-friendly rainy day activities
✔️ Arts & crafts shopping
✔️ Scenic spots that are actually BETTER after the rain
✔️ Local favorites we’d genuinely recommend
