Good morning! The Clarion continues to recede, so today we are only offering the 2.5 mile tube trip today so we can try to accommodate more people. We expect a wait list with this beautiful day ahead so plan accordingly. We are stopping tube trips at 2 pm. We are still offering our tube transport service for the 4 mile all day until 4 pm. These must be your own river quality tubes - singles and doubles only.

The 4 mile canoe and kayak trips will continue until 4 pm as usual. Stay in the channel (deeper, darker water). Wear appropriate footwear in case you have to get out and reposition. You will likely drag in places as conditions are low and slow. Keep your vessel as light as possible. We are limiting canoes to no more than 2 adults and 1 small child. We understand these conditions are not for everyone so make a good decision for yourself.

We open at 9 am and will run these trips all day UNTIL the following times:

2 pm: 2.5 mile Tube
4 pm: 4 mile Canoe or Kayak or Tube Transport (Your own single or double tube)

What does this mean? It means that we start at 9 am and run all these types of trips until the end times listed above.

All equipment is first come first serve. We do not take reservations. All equipment must be returned to the dock by 6 pm. If you are coming with a group, PLEASE sign up together so you are in the same van. We will put in on a van in the order that you sign up. Don't sign up until you are ready to go (use restrooms, change, etc. first)!

Please remember that alcohol is prohibited in Cook Forest State Park which includes the river.

🍃 Gear up for a meaningful start with the 'Litter Pick Up' on Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 AM. Gather at the Log Cabin Environmental Learning Classroom for a community effort to beautify our cherished forest roads. Supplies provided, and with your help, more areas can reclaim their natural beauty!

🚶‍♂️ Embrace the tranquility of the forest during the 'Evening Walk with Friends' on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM. The journey begins at the entrance to Ridge Camp on Route 36, winding through ancient trees. Share the experience with pet-friendly leashed companions and immerse in the lore of old-growth forests.

✨ Step back in time with the 'Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour' on Friday, April 26th at 1:00 PM. Meet at the Fire Tower Parking Lot for a guided exploration with Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns. Unveil the stories of yesteryears, spot ancient markers, and gaze out from the Fire Tower for an unforgettable panorama.
