Happy New Year from the Kenai King Lodge!

A new year means new adventures, and we’re counting down to an incredible season ahead. With more guests, exciting upgrades to our outdoor spaces, and so much more in store, 2026 is already shaping up to be our best season yet.

Only five months to go until we’re back open on the Kenai. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Big news on the Kenai — King Salmon escapement has hit the highest numbers in many years. After seasons of low numbers and heavy restrictions, it’s exciting to see this iconic run showing signs of strength again!

Looking back at a Silver from 10 years ago shows just how incredible the Kenai always is!

This year Sockeye numbers were off the charts with more than 4 million fish returning to the river. There are still Kings and Sockeye entering the river now, keeping the action going strong!

Our eyes are already looking at next season. We are looking forward to sharing more updates with you, and can't wait to see what next year brings!
