The wines are 100% Certified Organic and many Bio-Dynamic practices are employed as well, with a wine style that shows great balance upon release. Each label has a unique "spirit animal" by an artist from the Czech Republic. The Winery includes a 5 Star Resort, Spa, Golf Course and 1 Michelin Star Restaurant “Fre”. Press on the wines is reaching a new level with 2015 & 2016 vintages. Worth seeking out.

Located in Paso Robles, they have some of the most interesting wine labels, across their labels for Rabble, Tooth and Nail, Stasis and amor fati. Visit Tooth & Nail's Castle like (complete with moat) winery on Hwy 46 & Hwy 101 in Paso.

Congratulations to Team Gary Farrell for earning 95pt rating and #1 Wine of the Year by the Wine Enthusiast for their 2015v Russian River Chardonnay! Here's the good news-- 2016v Chardonnay tastes just as good! And the 2015v Pinot Noir Russian River also scored 95pts and there is some still available!

Here's a photo of the Napa Expo which serves as base camp to Fire fighters from multiple states that came in to help fight the Napa portion of the Napa, Sonoma, Solano and Mendocino fires. Great thanks to the fireman, Cal Fire, air national guard, local and regional police, national guard and other first responders helping the community. Our hearts go out to the families that lost lives and/or houses. Prayers to all involved, especially people in the Santa Rosa and Silverado communities. It was a horrific fire storm to experience.

On a recent visit to Red Mountain, I enjoyed Upchurch Vineyard Cabernet 2014 with Chris Upchurch himself. The Upchurch Vineyard Cabernet is a limited production Cabernet from his estate vineyard on Red Mountain. The Salustiano artwork on the label is as iconic as the winemaker, and is striking in person. The Wine Advocate has rated the 2012 and 2013 vintages 96pts… and the 2014 95pts. The 2015 vintage releases to the trade in November and was rated 93-95pts by WA.
