At the Villa, this might be it.

The rooftop sun deck sits above the house with views across the surrounding hills—a place for coffee before everyone wakes up, stretching out a little too long with a book, or bringing up a bottle of w**e and watching the valley change as evening arrives.

It’s also one of our favorite places for a yoga mat and absolutely nowhere to be.

It’s where the kids disappear.

And then, mysteriously, where the adults disappear about an hour later.

There are Sonoma days for tasting appointments, long lunches and exploring.

And then there are these Sonoma days.

Coffee outside. Swimsuits before noon. Something cold in your glass. A book you may or may not actually read. Lunch without leaving the house.

Then somehow it’s 5:00, nobody has moved very far, and someone suggests opening another bottle.

Because apparently we don’t believe in doing bathrooms halfway.

The primary bath at 𝓥𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪 𝓑𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓪 𝓒𝓵𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓪 was designed to feel like its own little spa: radiant heated floors, an oversized rain shower, heated bidet, a custom eight-foot white oak vanity and this glorious tub.

After a day of w**e tasting?
