Help support the Young Professionals Against Poverty Team as we attempt to reach our team goal of $20,000 and compete against 11 other teams at the Center for the Homeless' Annual Dancing with our Stars Miracle Auction Well, that’s what we will be doing for the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, in their local version of “Dancing with the Stars” (http://www.events.org/stars). Twelve of us will
be competing with our professional instructors on April 12th at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Saint Mary’s campus. Let me assure you, we only THOUGHT we did until we started practices. Who knew that Jared’s late night dance-offs, Colleen and Allison’s childhood recitals and high school poms and cheerleading, and Pablo’s Latino dance skills WOULD NOT come in handy for this! Simply out of love and respect for the Center for the Homeless, we are willing to take the stage and, hopefully, win! Although our competitive nature is sure to come out, the real motivation is raising money for the Center…we just need your help to reach our goal of $20,000!! Each vote is $41, or 5 for $205, or 10 for $410 (and 100 for $4,100, of course!). $41 is the cost to house and feed one guest at the Center for a day. All donations are tax deductible and go to an unbelievably vital and successful organization serving hundreds of men, women and children each day. PLEASE HELP! Every vote counts!
