I have performed ceremonies, in back yards, in Chapels, in private homes, on an uninhabited island at local restaurants and resorts, on the rocks at Ocean Point in East Boothbay, in gazebos, and even one in the middle of the footbridge in Boothbay Harbor. A person’s wedding day should be all about them and what they want. I love creating Wedding Magic. I have been performing weddings for over twen
ty years. I believe each wedding and wedding ceremony should be as unique as the couple getting married. I do my best to make their ceremony special for them. Even if a couple wants a traditional ceremony, unless they say no, I will try to find something, the location, the time of year, or the month, something, anything that I can include into the ceremony to make it different than all others. I believe all weddings should be magical. No wedding is too large or too small. I performed one wedding so small it was only the bride and groom, so I had to pick up a couple of witnesses on the way to the ceremony. It was a couple who sailed into Boothbay Harbor, tied up at the Tugboat and decided it was a beautiful location and wanted to get married there, they asked the bartender for the name of someone to perform the ceremony, they called me and I was available so I took my husband with me for one witness and talked a waitress into being the other witness and in less than an hour the couple was married and sailing away from the harbor.
