The odd one out.
Not every zebra follows the same pattern. This unusually dark plains zebra appears to show a rare pigmentation variation, likely linked to excess melanin, while still carrying the species’ signature stripes. Even in a herd built on sameness, nature makes room for exceptions. 🦓
