We are so excited to share that the first place winners of Jessica Herek’s duo turkey hunting competition have officially received their prize package from us!! 🦃📸🍾🎊

Not only did the girls each win an all inclusive 2 night stay- we also included a custom set of snackle boxes filled with fishing themed snacks!! 🐟

We’ve been doing a ton of work here at the Catch On The Canal!! After having to dig up our entire backyard to fix the seawall issue, we have been working nonstop over the last month + to get this house looking amazing again!

Here is a sneak peek of just one of the areas we’ve upgraded in the backyard.. This spot still has a long way to go- but is looking great so far!! We’ve got lights to add, grass to grow, & a ton more to finish~ but I love how this brick patio and firepit combo turned out🤩🪵🐟🎣

The chairs are also super fancy- they have a pull out cupholder with a slot for sunglasses, a key hook, & a spot for your phone!🕶️☀️

S/o to Bob & Melissa for having all of these extra patio pavers we got for free — so this whole project cost us less than $200 (including all 6 chairs!!) 🎉💵

We’ve been sitting on this one for a while…

The same day we found out about our seawall project (and everything that came with it 😅), we were also planning to announce something really exciting. But priorities shifted, & we hit pause to make sure the Seawall was fixable before announcing--

Now that the Seawall is DONE, we’re finally ready to share 🙌

We’re officially participating in a turkey hunting contest—and the prize?

🏆 A 2-night stay for the first-place winners at our Cabin Airbnb, The Catch on the Canal, in Standish, MI! ( In addition to a ton of other amazing prizes in the prize package! )

Our Seawall fixing project officially starts tomorrow!🎣

We have multiple contractors & workers coming to the house the next 2 days— we will be providing breakfast, lunch, & snacks both days! (Just missing the Subway sandwich platter I ordered!)🤩🍴

Here’s the menu:
🥯Breakfast: Bagel Bar, Fruit Salad, Muffins, Cinnamon Rolls, Donuts, Croissants, & Bananas

🥪Lunch: Subway Sandwich Bar, (5 Different Varieties of Subs), Cookies, & Chips

🍪Snacks: Granola Bars, Peanut Butter Crackers, Mandarin Oranges, Trail Mix, Nuts, & Meat Sticks

🥤Drinks: Waters with Electrolyte Drinks Mixes, Pepsi, Caprisun, & Gatorade
