🎲 Level 42 Board Gamers
♟ Buy/Sell/Borrow Hi, and welcome!

We are a husband/wife couple of modern board gamers living in Stewartstown, PA. We found our entry into this hobby through the cooperative game "Forbidden Island" in 2016 and grew from there. Over the years, we have acquired many games, some of which we decided to share with the local community through this page. We LOVE introducing new friends to modern gaming as a brief escape from screens & digital (de)vices. Everybody has played board games at some point in their lives, now, allow us to rekindle that joy with these new, modern classics.

Culling time! When you have too many games, you don't get to play all of them and avoid some because you have to relearn them every time. One way to fix this is to get rid of games. It doesn't matter if they're beautiful, super cool, or sleeved. If they're boring, disappointing, too heavy with too much setup, or you know it's not going to get played, it's time to go. A couple may go into pur game night library, but others will be sold. Have you culled lately?

Tomorrow (Monday, October 5th) is Board Game Night at Aviator Brew Hub, and A Fake Artist Goes to New York is our featured game! We'll bring and play lots of games at our Board Game Night, but this fun game by Oink Games Inc. is for lots of players and is pretty quick! We'll teach the game, but if you want to prepare, the Dicebreakers have a great video on YouTube:https://youtu.be/PVSgiVtUbDE?is=ehNipkTW9RMSjim7
See you tomorrow from 5 - 9 pm!

A Fake Artist Goes to New York is a 20-minute 5-10 player game where 1 player, the game master, secretly picks a word and announces the category. The other players are artists, and each artist takes a turn drawing one line at a time, but one artist is fake, doesn't know the word, and has to hide their identity. The real artists know the chosen word and want everyone to know they're a real artist without making the drawing too obvious. After each artist has drawn twice, everyone will vote for who the fake artist is. If the fake artist is exposed, the real artists win. If they don't, the fake artist has a chance to guess what they think the word is, and if they guess correctly, they and the game master win!

I think we've played Mind MGMT 5 times in the past couple of weeks, and although we're not familiar with the comic book series, we really enjoyed this hidden movement game!
