🕰 Our "NEW WINTER" hours are: Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 10 am - 7pm. Friday 10am - 8pm. Saturday & Sunday 8am - 8pm. 🕰 CLOSED on Tuesdays. 🤩😋

"Coker Creek Outpost" is located at "Hammer's Hideaway Campground" in the southeast corner of Monroe County Tennessee. We are very close to where the Benton MacKaye Trail crosses New Highway 68. (Give Mike a call at 423-807-1350, and we will come pick you up. It is best if you can call in advance.)
We also have a restaurant on our property, "The Blue Line Grill", which has great food at very reasonable prices, and is open everyday, except Tuesdays. Our Store/Gift Shop has a lot of hiking supplies along with maps and guides from the "Benton MacKaye Trail Association. (BMTA)
Our bathhouses are large and very clean. We offer, for your convenience, a "Hiker's Borrowed Shower Bag" with a clean "Coker Creek Outpost" T-shirt (available for purchase in our Gift Shop), a pair of shorts or sweat pants, sandals, & a towel and wash cloth to use while you wash your clothes around the corner in our Laundry Facilty.
The campground has an Old Rustic Log Cabin rental, right on Coker Creek & is available to rent in the Spring, Summer, and our colorful Fall. We also have 3 Primative Bell Tent rentals available. You can check them out at www.HammersHideaway.com.
Mike Stanfill is our Property and Restaurant Manager, and he takes great care of our Hikers! He can be reached at 423-807-1350. If you would like to make a reservation for one of our rentals, please give Dana a call at 423-404-1415 for availability.
We welcome you and look forward to meeting you. And if you stay with us, or if you just stop by to pick up supplies, grab a bite, and take a hot shower, we are here for you!
