Save for a rainy day (start with 3 months of expenses, put in HYSA). Owe money? Create a plan to pay down your debt, highest interest loans first, minimum on the rest, rinse and repeat. Money saved and debt paid off? Future you is so proud. 🥲 INVEST & SAVE. Don’t know how to invest? Learn. Retirement accts (401k, IRA’s), Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETF’s. Where? “A financial education is a women’s best form of protest. Having money means having options - the option to live our lives abundantly, restfully, and fruitfully.” - Tori Dunlap, Financial Feminist. Having a financial education is more than just securing your dream home, rental or your own. Having money affords you the freedom to leave a toxic relationship or toxic work environment.
