Introducing the backyard where EVERYONE gets a vacation! 🌳✨
When we designed The Oak House, we didn’t want to create another short-term rental with a few beds and a place to sleep.
We wanted to create a destination.
We’re a family of six, and our children are very much a part of our family business. When we create our properties, we look at them through the eyes of an entire family:
*Will the kids have something to do?
*Can Mom actually relax?
*Can everyone gather together?
*What about the dog? 🐾
*Will there be moments here that everyone remembers long after the trip is over?
That’s exactly why this backyard looks the way it does. 🤍
We want laughter coming from the cowboy pool while the kids splash and play.
We want hours spent on the playground instead of hearing, “I’m bored.”
We want Mom to steal a quiet moment in the hammock while everyone else is happily entertained.
We want the dogs to get a vacation, too. 🐕 That’s why we created their very own private dog park, safely sectioned off in its own corner of the backyard. They have space to explore, play, and enjoy being outside while their humans can relax knowing they have a secure area designed just for them.
We want fresh burgers coming off the grill and dinner eaten alfresco under the Texas sky.
And when the sun goes down, we want everyone gathered around the fire pit, swapping stories, laughing and making the kinds of memories that become part of your family’s story.
None of this happened by accident.
Every part of this backyard was intentionally planned, designed, and invested in to create an experience, not simply another place to stay.
We’ve invested significantly in making The Oak House something truly special, and we believe it shows. You simply won't find many short-term rentals in the area offering a backyard experience like this. The backyard at The Oak House offers:
🏊 Cowboy pool
🛝 Full playground
🐾 Private, securely sectioned dog park
🔥 Fire pit
🍔 Outdoor grilling + dining
🌿 Hammock for relaxing
✨ Space to gather, play, and reconnect
Because when you travel as a family, the house shouldn't just be where you sleep between activities.
