🎉 Happy 55th Birthday to our founder, Dan Brady! 🎉

Tomorrow, July 3rd, we celebrate the guy who started it all — founder of Adventure North Vacation Rentals and Dan Brady Painting, and the heart behind everything we do.

Daniel William Brady carries our late dad's name, and he carries it well. He's a devoted son to our sweet mom KB, a loyal brother to Scott, Erin, Ryan, and me (his big sister Shawne, who's had the joy of working alongside him since 2021), and a faithful son of Jesus Christ. You'll find him at Mass every week, at Adoration for his 4 AM Holy Hour every Friday, and every Lent playing the part of Jesus in the Living Last Supper with a great group of guys from St. Patrick's in Traverse City.

He waited 50 years to marry his forever love, Lisa (just celebrated their 5th Anniversary)— and it was worth every minute. ❤️

Dan's been an athlete his whole life: baseball, high school quarterback, basketball, waterskiing... and now, if you need him, he's on the pickleball court. He's a true friend, a wonderful uncle and husband, an employer who leads with grace and empathy, and an incurable practical joker (if you've been one of his unsuspecting victims, you know — and you probably laughed anyway).

This weekend he's celebrating the way he loves best: surrounded by people. He's hosting his high school friend group for an impromptu reunion at Nature's Ridge Pickleball Lodge, where they'll rally around their classmate Larry Boyle in his fight against cancer and remember their dear classmate Shelly Cobb, who passed away this year. That's Dan — turning a birthday into a chance to lift everybody else up.
