Last night was a good time for all who attended the 61st Reunion of the RHS Class of 61. Great food, DJ Music, a couple games and prizes, open bar and a 50/50 Raffle with proceeds going to RHS Class of 61 Scholarship Program.
Thank you all who attended, there were great stories, a few who never attended our reunion and new friendships were made.

Mark your calendars for the 61st year reunion of Roosevelt High School Class of 1961 Saturday September 17, 2022 at the Wyandotte Boat Club.
More information will be forth coming in the spring.

For those that could not attend the 60th Reunion Party, it was a good time for all that attended. Everyone had their pictures taken and a Reunion book was sent to all attendees.

In the meantime, be safe, take care, have fun and plan on joining us.

Reunion cancelled for Class of 61. Our annual class reunion scheduled for September will cancel for this year. Reunion Committee will start planning our 60th reunion next week. We hope we could have a big turnout and the Covid will be long gone. Anyone who has any ideas for this great celebration would be welcome to send ideas and hope everyone is safe till September 2021.

Barbara Roehrig went home to God early this morning after being hospitalized many times since December. Barbara was my dearest friend since McCann Grade School and graduating from Roosevelt Highschool. We remaind friends and worked with the Reunion Committee and the Class of 61 Scholarship program.
Sharon Timmons and I visited Barbara two or three times a week, we would alternate days to socialize and encourage her to get better from her Parkinson's. Sharon was her special angel and gave so much of her time I will never forget.
Sharon still sees Barbara's mother Mariam who is 95 and lives in senior living nearby and is also in poor health.
Barbara's son Mike said, there will be a memorial sometime this summer after this Virus is over.
I was honored to be her friend, we enjoyed each other's company, road trips and many lunches and dinners together, I will miss her so much.
Rest in Peace and God Bless Barbara.

Breakfast at Bob Evans Feb. 10, every other month for the Class of 61 hosted by Al Heller . .

We raised another $70 with a 50/50 raffle for the Class of 61 Scholarship Fund which will be for the June Graduation. The Scholarship will be determined by the principal and student councilors, our scholarship is for GP 2.5 and above. We ask all Graduate Classes to do the same as they meet and start Class Reunions by Paying It Forward.
Please plan to attend the ceremonies in June, you will be amazed at the accomoplishments of our young graduates and you can be part of sending them off into the future.
