Yesterday was a surprise booking for the next day! One we are thrilled and thankful for!

Today is D-DAY for Southern Way at Pillar Point Waterfront Rentals - The Lodge 💪🏼🏡

Today we finally get to test what we’ve spent years preparing for, learning, & working toward.

A 5,300 + sq. ft. vacation rental getting its very first true back-to-back turn!Guests out at 10 AM and the next guests arriving at 4 PM.

But The Lodge isn’t the only turn on the books today. We’ve got other back-to-backs happening in different villages across the area at the same time.

Different properties. Different locations. Same six-hour window. Same standards.

Years of learning how to plan the routes, only to reroute it, coordinate, manage, last minute inventory, handle the unexpected, and still make sure every property is ready like it’s the only one we have that day.

Today we put all of that to the test on our biggest property yet.

Here’s to D-Day at Pillar Point, crews spread across the Thousand Islands, a little organized chaos, and Southern Way doing what we’ve spent years preparing to do.

10 AM → 4 PM. Game on.

The Thousand Islands gives you a view you’ll never forget.

Waterfront views that never get old to boats & ships passing by, islands scattered in every direction, castles straight out of a little girl’s dream, world-class fishing, and sunsets you swear get better every night. The Thousand Islands has a kind of beauty you simply can’t find anywhere else. ❤️

You can travel a lot of miles and see a lot of beautiful places, but there’s just something about spending time in the summer in the Thousand Islands that stays with you long after vacation is over.

Come for the vacation.
Stay for the view.

Beautiful sunsets, fishing right from the dock, plenty of space to relax, room for the boat and one of our favorites:

“This place was even nicer than the pics show.”

Followed by “immaculate,” “very clean,” “a touch of class,” and “would definitely book again.”

This review is easily one of our favorites after six years because it recognizes everything that goes into a vacation rental .. from the initial startup, renovations to the continued operations and hospitality behind every stay.

It’s the planning, the details, figuring out what each individual property needs, and thinking ahead before a guest ever walks through the door.

The goal has always been bigger than simply preparing a home for check-in. It’s creating an experience where every guest matters just as much as the next and the little things have already been thought of before they ever have to ask.

When a guest notices those details, it means a little more because what feels effortless during their stay took a whole lot of thought, experience and dedication behind the scenes. ❤️
