We are excited to announce that Zig-Zag Trails will host the Zig-Zag XC on July 11-12, 2026!

Over the past 48 hours, an incredible group of partners, volunteers, and local riders have come together to keep this event alive. We are grateful for everyone who stepped up, and we're excited to bring the MTB community together for an unforgettable weekend.

Event Highlights

Saturday, July 11
• Open Rider Class for non-racers - NEW
• Course preview and riding opportunities

Sunday, July 12
• Zig-Zag XC Race Day
• Full race program and scoring

Hutch Huck & E-Bikes

The Hutch Motorsports E-Bike Class is still happening, and the Hutch Huck is bigger than ever!

The Course

Expect:
• 4-mile race loop
• 2-mile youth course
• New singletrack
• Bridges and man-made drops
• Open trail and grass-track sections
• Rocky riverbed crossing
• Excellent spectator viewing areas

This event is about more than racing. It's an opportunity to bring the New England MTB community together, and our goal is to make the Zig-Zag XC a must-attend annual event for both racers and noncompetitive cyclists.

It's been a crazy 48 hours, but the support from the community has been amazing. There are still details to finalize and more announcements to come, but our priority was making sure this race stayed alive.

So no, you're not going to the beach... the race is NOT cancelled! 😎

Awesome day today at RacedayXc’s round 4 at Thunder Mountain- Berkshire East. The track crew did an amazing job getting this dialed in with huge mix of terrain.
A big appreciation for Earthwork’s master Derek for fixing my brakes between practice and the race and getting me back out there!

What an awesome Tuesday 12 mile evening ride at NEMBA’s Vietnam MTB property with Jim Boschen and Kevin an OG rider of the area I was lucky to be able to follow. Strangely, riding that hellish rock fest was the most peaceful time my mind has had in a long time! If you have stress, drama and life is throwing you challenges, go ride NEMBA’s Vietnam!
