This is a promotion for page for Jewel Leigh Media projects including JEWEL LEIGH'S ROCK 'N' ROLL TRAVEL SHOW and her work as a radio personality on Lecomradio.com I've BEEN to like, 38 states, but if I don't remember dancing in them, they won't be marked. This is authentic and important stuff to keep track of. :)

While visiting San Antonio, Texas to find content on Christopher Cross (yes, he's Texas!), I was walking back to my hotel after a wonderful meal and I heard loud music.

Since I *always* follow the music, I found myself at the San Fernando Cathedral and enjoyed their light and sound extravaganza. It is very cool; video doesn't do it justice, but I hope you'll enjoy seeing it anyway. ✌❀🎢

Buddy Holly was just 22 years old on February 3, 1959 --
The day the music died. While shooting in Lubbock, Texas, home to Buddy Holly, I made a point to visit his gravesite.

I've always been aware of Buddy's story, but it was mainly just that - an old rock 'n' roll story. But, being in his hometown, visiting the Buddy Holly Center, and seeing his grave gave me a new perspective on the legend. ✌❀🎢

Austin, Texas - An amazing city for live music - especially if you appreciate the vintage pop LEGENDS who got their start there and/or made an impact on music history. (I'll be making videos about Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, and Christopher Cross). Also, it's just very fun for music lovers.

Who are your favorite musicians with connections to Austin?
